The Pub Runners’ March 2026 tour of Northern Ireland included a memorable stop at the Giant’s Causeway along the rugged Antrim coast. This remarkable landscape—formed by an ancient volcanic eruption—features some 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. Located near the town of Bushmills, the site has been designated both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a national nature reserve. The group encountered dramatic coastal weather, with powerful winds, driving rain, and bursts of hail. Conditions were so intense that simply standing still to take in the breathtaking views proved a challenge.
