Biography
The Pub Runners are made up of Jerry Belanger
and Doug Berkshire.  Together they form the
unique folk duo with a blend of Irish and American
folk Music.  Intertwined in their music is a constant
on-going reference to Irish humor and history of
their songs.

Jerry Belanger began singing as a youngster in
and around the Flint and Mt. Morris Michigan area.
At many Irish events he would sing "Danny Boy."
As he grew up he picked up the guitar and has
been playing ever since.  With a major influence by
the Clancy Brothers, it was his family who
influenced him the most.  The large Flynn Clan
nurtured the Irish culture for all of the youngsters
and supported their performances, along with,
most importantly, Jerry's parents, Frank and
Margaret.

Doug Berkshire has always had an interest in
music.  He teamed up with Belanger with a keen
interest in Irish/Scottish music.  Doug taught
himself to play the guitar and they started to
practice.  The rest, as they say, is history.  Doug
takes great enjoyment in performing the sounds of
the Emerald Isle, especially the ballads that tell
great historical stories.

The Pub Runners have performed in all of the great
lakes states along with Tennessee, Kentucky, Las
Vegas, North and South Carolina, New York,
Pennsylvania, Florida and Canada.  Numerous Irish
festivals and ethnic pubs have been their homes
on the road.

Whether performing for an all Irish crowd, or
mixture of Americana, your audience can be
assured ALL will have a wonderful experience at a
